No SD70M Should Roam Alone

The LK&O roster includes a Genesis SD70MAC “Spirit of Cumberland” because CSX is part of the LK&O and therefore must be represented in motive power. Like on the prototype the big CSX six axle diesel will pull coal trains out of the mountains of Maryland to far away consumers. However, rarely in real life do you see a single locomotive pulling a long string of loaded hoppers especially in the hills. So today the Spirit of Cumberland is joined by the Spirit of Miami SD70M. Yes, you read right. A new locomotive arrived today. An Athearn Genesis SD70M road number 4699 pt# G6161. The new locomotive is the DC version of the AC Spirit of Cumberland. Now there will be two CSX locomotives on point dragging coal from Mettiki mine.
